When Clark Kent / Kal-Els home planet krypton is destroyed, his mother and father must send him to earth. Many years later of growing up on a farm, wondering who or what he is, he finally stumbles across the truth. When earth is threatened by the evil General Zod from his own race, he becomes the symbol of hope and must fulfil destiny.

Now, I don’t feel like i should really have to explain superman, everyone should know of him!

But what i will do is, I will tell you if this was worth the watch…

It was SUPER. Never have i had so much fun watching a comic book film, it had the best visual effects i have seen, Christopher Nolan was involved with the making of this, therefore many are going to compare it to the Batman Trilogy. But honestly, shut up!

They’re two different superheroes and if you can’t distinguish the difference, then you’re a moron.

Anyway, enough of that, it was fun, dramatic, it was full of action and special effects. Normally i worry about CGI because sometimes it looks stupidly awful and fake, however it wasn’t even like that with Man of Steel! Bravo to those who worked in that department, fantastic job at making it look realistic.

When watching this film you will be completely mesmerised by the fight scenes. Kevin Costner did a wonderful job playing Jonathan Kent.

Russell Crowe has gained his credibility as an actor again by playing Jor El (that’s Clark’s real daddy) ! YAY! (Because let’s face it, les mis was nothing to go by). Just good ole fashioned acting.. I just don’t get why the english accent is put on? Must every important alien fella talk with an english accent.. oh wait, they must because it makes you sound like you have more wisdom than the others. My bad, i forgot.

Amy Adams did a great job as Lois Lane, great chemistry with Henry Cavill!

As for Henry Cavill?

BUT in all seriousness, he did a wonderful job saving all those people and i really believed his performance, i think he deserves a lot of credit.

Comic book fans will probably give off about the film not sticking to the comic book.. but what do you want?
It’s called an adaptation for a reason.
Anyway, this is just my opinion..

Prepare to be amazed. (not to hype it up or anything..) I CANT WAIT FOR THE SEQUEL!
p.s did you know The film was released in June because it’s the 75th anniversary of Superman?

Heres the trailer to tide you over, and remember, you are not alone.
